The idea was born during the pandemic when one of our co-founders saw a family-owned restaurant in their neighbourhood close its doors permanently. They weren’t alone—hundreds of beloved eateries couldn’t afford the fees of third-party delivery platforms or the cost of building custom apps and websites. That’s when the idea struck: why not build a platform that puts the power of digital transformation directly in the hands of restaurant owners, without making them pay a fortune or rely on developers?
From there, Gustosfera began not just as a product, but as a mission: to keep local food culture alive by giving chefs, bakers, baristas, and food truck owners the tools they need to survive and thrive in a digital-first world.
One of the first restaurants to use Gustosfera was a tiny Filipino dessert shop run by a retired teacher and her daughter.
